El Paso International Airport and Midland International Air & Space Port are both approximately three hours from Marfa by car. Private transportation services operate in both areas; however, if you are interested in exploring the areas surrounding Marfa, procuring a rental car may be helpful. If you are arriving by private air travel, Marfa Municipal Airport is approximately 4 miles from town. The City of Marfa’s Visitor Center can assist with transportation from the municipal airport for any visitors staying within the Marfa city limits at a hotel, lodge, or short term rental. They may be reached daily at (432) 729-4772.

While Marfa is located several hours by car from most cities, the drive to Far West Texas can be quite scenic and enjoyable!

If you are arriving by air in El Paso, it is helpful to note that while Marfa is located in the Central Time Zone, El Paso is within the Mountain Time Zone.

Hotel Saint George has complimentary parking in a private lot next to the hotel. Street parking in Marfa is also free of charge and generally abundant within a block of our property.

Cancellations should be made at least five (5) days prior to arrival. Any cancellations or changes made less than 5 days prior to arrival will forfeit the first night’s deposit. To cancel your reservation, contact Guest Services at 432.729.3700 or reservations@marfasaintgeorge.com.

We accept up to two pets per room – dogs must be under 80 pounds. Hotel Saint George does not require a pet deposit but does charge a $50 per pet fee per night’s stay, and additional cleaning or damage fees may apply if necessary. Please be aware that your room or suite will not be cleaned or serviced while pets are in the room. Pets must be accompanied by their owner in public areas at all times and must be in kennels or crates if unattended in a guest room. Pets are also subject to our noise policy.

There are myriad shops, cultural institutions, galleries, and activities in and around Marfa to fill your time here, whether your interests lie in the arts, the outdoors, or simply unwinding. We recommend using the Marfa Visitor Center’s online resource visitmarfa.com as you plan your stay. While the Visitor Center stays abreast of regular operating days and hours across town, they may be subject to change at some businesses with little notice. If there is a shop or restaurant you intend to patronize while you are here, we recommend checking in with them directly to confirm their status during your travel dates.
